I dunno about you guys but i've been thinking for the past few days how did jay fund Reasonable Doubt and all the promo for it? Did Priority give him a big budget for it.

Jigga had some hot productions, promo in clubs, the fancy suites and big videos, who does this for their first album tho

They see me trolling, they hating.....
Jay Z was riding in a car with a drug dealer friend of his, they got into a wild car accident. The car is heavily damaged. While his friend lay dying in critical condition on the steering wheel Jay Z scoops up the many kilos of cocaine that his friend has hidden under the seat and bounces before the ambulance/police comes.

The money from the coke would later be used to fund Rocafella records and the rest is history.

Given Jay Z's capitalistic nature I would not at all be surprised if Jay Z took his friends seat belt off and violently turned the steering wheel causing the crash to happen in the first place though.

Jay, Dame, Biggs all brought money to the table and did everything with monies in the brown paper bags.

funny reading that and seeing Flex host his album release party because i'm sure it was Flex they spoke about how when they sent every big DJ the vinyl for In My Lifetime and a bottle of champagne, they said Flex took the champagne and tossed the record...was on a show like behind the music or some shyt.
