But then he comes back a year later, he gains weight, he's not as mobile as he was in the ring, They gave him a VHS 90s theme and just fell off. He gained some good heat off the Sable angle but that Sable bomb killed his whole career. WTF happened?

He was surpassed by the popular wrestlers with more edge and shades of grey. DX, stone cold, heel bret, all made him look lame as shyt. And thats not even including the nwo on the other channel…or ecw.

Probably didn't help when he adapted that boxing TKO gimmick when the UFC started to have buzz and guys like Ken Shamrock and Dan Severn started to come over in the WWF taking spots that could have been Mero's.
