How did Obama win the election?

oh shyt i forgot all about this. I haven't googled it but i remember one of my friends telling me that the election isn't by who citizens vote for, its by some room with college students, college students decide who the next president is going to be. That explains it then if its true.

America has also freed the slaves and ended Jim Crow. America was prolly way more racist in the 1800s than now. Just because alot pf white people do hate blacks and others doesn't mean 100% of them hate blacks. In fact, the election shows that there are like 40-50% of white people who are on board with the whole "created equal" thing.

Just because gang bangers shoot into crowds of innocents doesn't mean ALL bangers do that. I am just guessing but I would say 90% of people representing a set are non psychpaths. Same deal with racists. You hear alot about the "vocal" minority.

For real some of the shyt thats been said on here has convinced me that racism is still a big issue, I was wrong. Now bear in mind I'm still a young ass guy, idgaf about politics and all that shyt and I pay 0 attention to it. So my question is with all this racism how did Obama not only win the election once but 4 years later get re-elected?

Whites make up more then half of the US population, why did they vote for him if they hate black people?

I'll be honest. It was his competition. He was going against two guys who were seen as two time losers. McCain had the best chance until he picked up that dumb bytch Palin. White Men listened to her and thought it McCain died while in office she would be President.

Then you had Romney. Who was a Mormon. Close to being a Billionaire Who reminded everyone of their jack ass boss and then he got caught on camera talking slick about people who aren't rich.

And Obama being a gifted speaker that can capture the imaginations of everyone.

Easy wins each time.....Obama carried fukking Ohio and Florida last time for Christ's sake...lol Dude put in work. I follow politics and I couldn't imagine Obama losing those races.

a lot of people forgot how low bush's approval rating was in 2008. Obama was able to capitalize just off that esp. with the "Change" slogan . B/c of this he was able to get votes from a lot of traditional republicans too.
