How did Pitbulls become popular amongst black folks?

If somebody ran into the crib right now I bet my cats would do more for me than my pit :heh:



He'd roll over on his back actin a damn fool for the intruder to rub his stomach :heh:




A poodle would probably be a better guard dog than a damn pit :heh:


And unless you walk it multiple times a day, pits will have way too much energy for you too handle.

Im curious too, tho. Seems like among black americans, especially hood cats, owning a Pit Bulls has some sort of significance and notoriety :ohhh:

Maybe it's because like Pitbull's, Black men are unfairly stereotyped as violent and angry when it's due to the conditions that they've been in that makes them like that.

Maybe I'm over analyzing things but I always thought Pit's and Black men were kindred spirits for that reason in a sense.
