Like i just thought of this, why is it the norm for pizza to get delivered but not something else like sandwiches or burgers?

Somebody thought about it and it stuck and now its the normal nation wide :ohhh:

Don't mean to add to the fukkery but how long have they had pizza delivery for? Like I don't think they was out there delivering pizzas in a model t. Somebody had to come up with the idea. I'm 29 and remember always having pizza delivery. Maybe the older heads knew of a time when delivery didn't exist.

The first pizzeria in North America was opened in 1895 in New York City, but pizza didn't really catch on until after the second World War, when U.S. servicemen came home from Europe gushing over it. Many small pizzerias began offering delivery service with the advent of the car culture in the 1950s, but Domino's Pizza founder Tom Monaghan is generally credited with establishing pizza delivery as a profitable enterprise.
