How did SOHH react whenthe news dropped that Nas signed to Jay?

Nas was never on rocafella so this never happened.

Most people understood it as a move to Def Jam and LA Reid with Jay by the side, which at the time, most people were psyched about because it was like finally an artist of Nas caliber on Def Jam. Cant speak for all but after Streets Disciple people felt like Columbia was sort of dwindling down in terms of black music aside from Beyonce.
No one realize Def Jam was falling apart with not promoting everyone. Even still Nas was of the lucky ones as he got 3 number 1 albums off that.
Some people looked at it like he was signing to Jay (Dipset and G-Unit fans mostly who were beefing with Both Jay and Nas stans) but most people clearly got that it wasnt the case and were interested to see what he would do there and if Kanye and Just would be involved.
Mostly people were just interested in seeing Nas and Jay work together on Def Jam with all the artists and the history there
