A friend and I were talking about this after we hit the club up, both kinda tilted, and he was talking about problems that he had. I was telling him that I understand and that everyone has their own issues, and that's true, but I'm glad he brought these issues up.

It made me realize, that from the other end you're expected to be perfect, and the person who has this expectation isn't perfect, but they still expect.

Sometimes I feel like the opposite sex expects me to be perfect, when in reality I'm nowhere near perfect. I feel like employers and coworkers expect me to be perfect, but they're nowhere near it as well.

This whole idea of unconsciously realizing ones own imperfections, so they seek perfection is mind blowing.

Anyone else ever feel like this,

So you guys are telling me that you've never thought that people have expected you to be perfect before?

Ohhh lemme guess why not, cause this is the coli where I'm the only nikka who ain't making 6 figures, driving a8 audis, and going to south beach for memorial weekend.

You cats be so phony sometimes.

You've never been pulled in multiple directions by multiple people and couldn't find balance?

Perfect is unnatural

Be the version of you that makes you proud
It's unnatural but it's a concept invented by people.

I try to be the best me that I can be, but at times I get pulled from all different directions and I don't get to do what I'd like to do because I can't do everything.

Didn't you ever feel like this

Not really, if someone is being unfair or unreasonable I would quite clearly tell them to :whoa: or :camby:

If you're the person causing the stress, then you need to have a talk with yourself, time management and setting realistic goals

I'm not causing stress, I mean, I am lonely but I think it's due to my personality at times. Conflicts and being conflicted, even when it comes to girls I always find a reason not to talk to one, "oh she's not perfect, etc."

I manage my time fine, I think. Enough to read, exercise, and even write. I do wish that I could learn an instrument, I just don't take the initiative to practice.

I don't know, I'm not mad, or sad, I'm happy, but I could want more.

I just feel like people put me on a pedestal at times. Like from employers, teachers, family members, friends, and older people that I'm smart, I'm a leader, etc. But at times I don't see these things in myself, do you see them in yourself? Someone told me that it's best to accept that you'll never be the best at anything, but if you've done your best then you should be satisfied.
