How did y’all feel about Y2J undisputed title reign?

I know Y2J himself said the title run was ass. I hate the way HHH took it at WMX8

It was originally said that Kurt Angle was gonna be in this match and beat Austin and Rock. That imo would've been much better. Jericho didn't live up to the hype, mostly cuz of how he was written. Why would they make the first ever undisputed champion who beat two goats a certified bytch? It goes back to that thread I made about Jericho being short. Vince and all the writers always looked at him as a cruiser weight/mid-card guy with main event potential.

I always liked Jericho so I was proud to see him finally get that major push. But of course HHH has to come and ruin shyt.

Him winning was cool because no one was expecting it, it really was shocking. But how the booked it afterwards was mostly forgettable and pretty much negated him being the first undisputed champ

I know the championship should be the most important match, but even back then there was precedent for the title not being the last match. When you have Savage vs Flair for the title in the middle of the fukking card at WM8, there was no excuse to not have what amounted to Triple H vs Stephanie going before The Rock at his peak vs a returning NWO Hogan.
