How Did You Catch COVID?

For those who have/had it, did you ever figure out how you caught it(where you were, who you were around, etc)?

And were you following CDC guidelines regarding masks, distancing, and hand washing?

This isn’t a shame thread, just an opportunity to help others stay safe by telling your experience.

Was dropping my Dad at the airport. I wasnt supposed to go inside but he needed help with his bags.

Didnt have a mask on but thought "ill only be in there for a few seconds"


There were thousands of ppl there, it was packed. That night my throat was sore, next day coughing and chills and full blown the day after.

Im convinced if i didnt go inside or if i had a mask i would have been fine

I hope I don't get long covid like some are, I still have a runny nose
