The reason for the displeasure of Cena winning IS because everybody saw it coming. Sometimes you hope a wrestling company surprises you or they do something different. The argument is about predictability.

Cena winning at WM made perfect sense. They never really built him back up though, he lost way too many times after this.

Rusev beats Swagger, Henry & Big Show. Then finally, he beats everyone's favorite, John Cens.
Grabs the mic, makes fun of Americans, "your so called heroes and champions. There is not one American who can beat the mighty Russian Rusev. Not one! I challenge any American to try to defeat me, right here, right now, or else I will name this Championship the CCCP Championship!"
Couple of seconds of silence, then this music hits:

Someone else deserved that Mania moment unlike Cena is biggest issue.
But the whole anti-American storyline has a very short life span and so out of touch with current fans. Russv is a main event caliber talent stuck with an archaic 1980s gimmick. It's a shame how poorly utilize Russv is on Raw.

Everyone knew Cena was gonna win and that's fine, but they should have had something for Rusev after Cena got his win instead of just having him lose to Cena again and then do nothing much for a long time afterwards

Poor guy hadn't to go through feuds with cena And Roman in a fairly short amount of time, poor guy never stood a chance. No one could have survived that.

Am I the only one who remembers this feud carrying on for another couple months and Cena winning again and again? I feel it's justified to ask "why?" WWE does nothing with young talents who manage to get over.
