How Different Does CP3’s Career Go If That Laker Trade Actually Goes Through?

I have questions on how him and Kobe fit alongside each other. Even though CP did prove he could play alongside a premier shooting guard such as Harden and Booker he was way later into his career at that point and was more humble and willing to play off ball

Back when that Laker trade popped off he was 25 just hitting his prime and arrogant as hell. Not to mention he’s just a dikkhead who can’t help but be that way. How would Kobe handle him bossing him around and talking to him like he ain’t shyt?

Something tells me Kobe would not have handled it well. Especially when CP is demanding the keys. Not to mention Kobe’s knees were starting to go at that point. That was during the escape to Germany period.

CP3 and Kobe seemed like that had that same mental makeup but iunno if that’s necessarily a good thing for a duo. Two arrogant ass nikkas who must call the shots at all times while letting you know they are calling the shots can definitely be cause for clashing.

Everyone always acted like the league vetoed a Dynasty but a lot would have had to break right for them to win. And seeing how CP3’s career played out…as great as he was he always seem to make big blunders during winning time. Does he shake that under Kobe?

In my opinion he would at least have one championship and that championship would have changed CP3 entire career perception.

I get CP3 can be a dikk (no homo) but in his prime he was absolutely a two way terror and elite franchise changing point guard on that court. The championship would have solidified it to most NBA viewers.

On a D'Antoni team, the ball was gonna be in CP3 hands more than it ever would've been in Odom's, with or without Kobe on the floor.
