How do all these people keep getting kidnapped by Isis/Taliban?

Reading CNN.com and I'm looking at these two japanese dudes who most likely will be beheaded in the coming days (unless someone comes up with 200 million)


Where are these people traveling to in the middle east that makes them easy targets?


Is Isis jumping out of white vans on some pedophile shyt and just grabbing these dudes off the streets?

Some of those guys are just there on a contractor status. The others (like the first two guys who got got) are there for missionary work and shyt, or doing the journalism thing. These dudes that are getting fukked up are just trying to do good honest work and trying to help the people there that aren't extremists, but they putting their lives on the line.
I've been to a couple of spots in the middle east and in my opinion, it would be very easy to get yanked off the streets if you weren't careful.
