Case in point a little story: K & E are a couple I know, K is raised in a white country from age 2 but his folks are straight from West Africa. E was mostly raised in West Africa, too, but has lived in said white country for like 6 years. I have a conversation one day with K that goes a little something like this;

K: hey man, E came up to me earlier and was saying "I hate these white people so much, day in and day out, they're out here looking at me like I'm some kinda cheap servant, and that they're better than me. It disgusts me"

K: So I said to her "these people came to YOUR country, colonised YOUR people and took away your culture and religion. Then they made you speak THEIR language and praised THEIR god. And you think they're not going to look at you like they're better than you? Of course they are, they have every right to believe it!"
Me: Are you fukking serious?
K: Yeah, man. Should've seen the look on her face, she didn't have shyt to say
