How do I apply at major companies?

I just became familiar with the concept of staffing companies recently

If that’s what staffing companies do then yea but I’m under Robert Half now and a lot of these companies that are super hard to apply to online are actually a client of theirs.

At the beginning sometimes they can act funny but once they get you that first gig, they become instantly consistent since you now have a track record.

LinkedIn is a god send. I’ve gotten a few job opportunities in the last month.

Recruiter’s post jobs all the time on their pages.

I work for a similar company as those but mine is larger. I know people who work at Cap One as well.

Robert Half usually posts jobs and is good at calling you back so what will happen is a lot of times they’ll just call you back and just help you get into the field of your choice wether it’s perm, temp or temp to perm.

Recruiters often have their title on their page and are always posting job openings.

Just sent them a message/Inmail. They’ll respond asking to see your resume and schedule a meeting.

Just to let you know the recruiters who fail to help you most likely end up ignoring you after

but most of them I cant even see their profile because

I have a premium membership which I will cancel once I get a perm spot but are all recruiters you check saying the same thing?

There should be free trails of upgraded memberships that give you access to networks.

yeah, just got a free premium trial and I have been able to see a few

I just assumed that I would be able to see all of them, but none the less, so far it does look good, I have been able to see a few

Yea and as an engineer I think you’ll probably have more success than someone in let’s say finance. So good luck. Hopefully your next thread will be your start date

Yeah the cool thing about LinkedIn is anyone that responds is willing to help you in some shape or form.
