I think appreciation comes from the spirit. Once a man finds a deep sense of meaning in this world it should be academic in order to be grateful for what one has yet strive to maximize their potential.

But then the question can get muddied whether you're striving for stuff or striving for the sake of doing all you can do. It's tough man.

I honestly believe that unless one has a solid Godly foundation everything becomes meaningless.

Realize that you could lose all of it tomorrow in the blink of an eye. Everything. You know those homeless people on the street, offering to wash your car? That could be you tomorrow. What if your company was shut down due to corruption, ended up bankrupt because you couldn't find work, and none of those girls picked up the phone? No family to go back to either, because you moved outta state on bad terms? And it wouldn't even hit you until you see a young man that reminded you of yourself, before the storm, driving to a stoplight and gave you the:camby: because you offered to wash his car. It wouldn't be the end of you, but could you imagine?

Everybody always thinks that it could never happen to them, until it does. Don't sleep. Always remember to never take it for granted, because if you get outta hand, life will humble you REAL quickly.

Life is like GTA. The missions are the whole point. Once you beat all the missions gets boring driving around the same town doing the same shyt.

Thats why you buy new releases AKA keep working for more in life. New challenges and new scenery.

Go spend some time with old, poor, or sick people.
I don't mean an hour, I mean spend real time with these people.
Devote 5 hours a week to it, and you'll have a different perspective on pretty much everything.
