yeah theres no built in way to disable it. like brooklynz said, you can use the noscript addon to disable javascript

if you find it annoying when your typing a quick reply and the screen keeps moving you can always click "go advanced"

it doesnt bother me on my laptop, but on my phone, everytime it moves it takes the keyboard off my screen.

both of those should disable the javascript that makes the page refresh
