How do I set up Dualshock 4 with PC?

This shyt is annoying, B. I connected the shyt with USB and Steam says it has native support for DS4 but I can’t map the controller in many games, what’s the way to do it?

I never tried remapping controls so idk. My shyt worked flawlessly on steam games. I do know that i have to use DS4Windows for any non steam games tho.

So you plugged in the controller and it was the same buttons as if it was a PS4 game? The Steam game knew the corresponding buttons from PS4 already?

I think it depends on the game because some games give xbox button prompts
