how do i stop a local community center from being bought out?

it’s a greedy commissioner in philly that wants to take the playground that me and my boy workout in. they’re false marketing it as playground renovation but really they’re trying to expand land for school property.

i met the og who works there last year. he’s a mentor who actively plugs me in with multiple professional opportunities and tries to help all the kids there, now they’re gonna fukk up our relationship. are there any effective, concrete steps that i can take towards solving this?

we have a petition right now but i don’t think it’s gonna do much. they’re trying to say that there’s not enough kids there at the playground which is clearly false. it’s right in front of an open field that’s next to the school gym so they’re probably gonna try to put a football field there

You need to start making people within the community aware of this. Door to door, fliers and some kind of petition would be a solid start
