Above the fray.
Question for anybody knowledgable or affiliated with the Nation of Gods and Earths.

For it to be an organization meant to uplift Black people, the very first Gods that I knew (and most that I've known personally) were full fledged street dudes. And they remained street dudes, doing the same things they were doing before getting knowledge of self.

I don’t think they try and justify it. A lot of illegal activity goes against their principles like any other religion or philosophy. Humans not perfect. I guess they try and repent for it and atone like other religions. But I’m not a 5 percenter so I cant speak for them.

it's not a religion like the NOI claims to be, it's just a set of principles that people who consider themselves 5%ers follow, they just follow the their own accord. Some may use this to turnover a new leaf and become "legit" others may be what you consider a heretic (even though like I said it ain't a religion) they use the teachings how they may see them and how it benefits them, not necessarily trying to be a better individual.

But I'm not a NGE member.

You can question the same thing about any other religions. You know how many LA gang members are Christians?

They are police officers that are NGE. Typecasting them all as gangsters is some

:mjpls:

Kinda shyt

If you believe that you're God it's hard not to be a little sociopathic.

Build or Destroy.

It’s your choice.

Some brothers choose to destroy and they gotta deal with whatever comes with that.

lol a preacher in the streets Lol

Not like every preacher is secretly a criminal, but they out there. I PERSONALLY know a nikka who was for all intents and purposes a dope boy in florida. This nikka had his own church :dead: Albeit small and a small congregation, but every Sunday, people were coming to his church. Literally one of the grimiest nikkas I met in my whole life lol. And that’s just one example
