How do ppl like Nas write lyrics?

I've always heard Nas say he writes(literally), as opposed to Jay, Biggie, etc who all say they dont write.

Given the amount of lyrics and the wordplay in his songs, it's hard to keep up with ur brain when trying to write/type stuff down that fast and you end up forgetting or messing up.

The songs I've written, it's actually a little bit easier to not write and just feel it out over the track b/c ur freeing up one aspect of urself.....then maybe go back and jot some things down.

Or maybe the the nikka is just that great.

It's not always that easy tho to come back to a song when ur in that "moment"

I'm not saying he does it all in one session, but I'm just saying it's hard to write everything down as fast as ur brain is flowing. You end up forgetting some sh*t you were gonna say. I mean if ur writing lyrics like Soulja Boy that's one thing....
