the beginning of the end to one of the potentially great careers in hip-hop. he's even admitted it was trash due to the sickness of his pops. i listen to nore sometimes now and cringe before he even utters a bar. from the war report up until this dropped...man, i dont even wanna talk about it. :sadcam:
This came out two years after War Report. :heh:

One of the potentially great careers? You serious? :dahell:

The intro and the first 2 songs made the album seem like we were in for another classic.....But once Track 4 came on it was downhill from there. Even the skits were weak. Melvin Flynt was equally as dissapointing as Immobilarity which came out around the same time. Melvin Flynt and Immobilarity, the two biggest dissapointments of late 1999.

One of my favorite songs from this album . The album ain't as stellar as his two previous joints but it wasn't terrible , I'll give it 3 mics .

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Just revisted the album and i must say... EZ Elpee is one gifted producer (he did Sometimes and Bloody Money Part 3)

The drums, snares, basslines/percussions and strings/chords he incorporated were just genius level event.

I truly wished they could have collborated more.

(damn shame this wasn't on the album... should have been a bonus).

But he did Shyne's Bad Boys, JM's Get Money (and the remix i believe), G Deputy's Special Delivery (all time fav), Mobb Deep's Get Away (crazy sample), Oochie Wally... to name a few.

Along with these slept on bangers:

(this is a personal fav - the bassline was serious shiit).

He was the quintessential late 90's/early 2000's multifaceted east coast producer... he literally didn't have a signature sound and

And i remember copping the Sauce $ album back in summer 2000...

The following is a fukkin' dope ass beat.

Just pull out a ganky ass lawn chair, sit back, blaze a fat ass jank and just fall deep into a mental state of bliss while playing this joint.

:ohlawd:

Man... rap/hip hop was my fukkin life back in the 90's and early 2000's. Swear to god if i didn't have it i'd prolly blow my fukkin' brains out.

Ez Elpee was one of the producerial wizards that was instrumental in helping a young vigga keep his head up through tough times.
