Black people been gambling for awhile. There is no "push". Gambling is picking numbers, scratch and wins, work pools, tossing/shooting quarters etc. even back to people running numbers back in the day.

shyt, my fondest memories as a boy was my grandfather taking me to the horse/dog races coming up.

With gambling being a vice no different than alcohol or drugs I feel like it's a legitimate question.
