:jbhmm: I like the instrumental and overall vibe, but I feel like the lead singer lacks the soul and power to really pull it off. Song is about infidelity and betrayal yet she's singing it like it's about taking a nice stroll on the beach lol.

The instrumentals are dope. I actually like her voice but it doesn't fit this song, not soulful enough.

The Sir Version is pretty solid.

Cannons version sucks imo, and quite frankly that girl has no right to be covering that song and the talent of the band makes it even more obvious.

I want to like it but here's my problem:

  • The direction of the vibe is all over the place
  • The lead singer is lacking soul
  • The execution sounds like some gentrificated coffee shop shyt

I enjoy Indie, retro, eletronica sounds but if you are covering a hit, do it right:
