Anyways yes I have a bias against light skin men (no I've never been rejected by one, never bothered to ask one out). Honestly my family has plenty of light skin men to pass down the name. Plus I want my kids to come out as dark as my paternal grandmother.

What do they look for? What standard are they comparing them too?

If you're only talking about the rate me threads, then those ratings are way off. There aren't many women on here and sometimes a lot of us don't go into the threads, so some people who do have high ratings wouldn't have them if there were a hundred of us rating vs a different 5-15, or the same few in each thread.

Those ratings do not reflect the real life majority. I think a lot of the women on here have bad eyesight or poor taste.

For example, cedric the entertainer got a higher rating that jcole, which is ridiculous. If you asked 100+ women that, pretty sure the majority would say jermaine is more attractive. Also, you are right, the women on here who vote in those threads frequently seem to prefer darker males and males with a more thicker, short/stubby, muscular football looking body type. Some women prefer that look and some don't. I am one of the ladies who don't. It just so happens that the other few on here do prefer that type.

It's pretty crazy how much this affects a woman's outlook on your whole persona.

You dont have to necessarily be a politician or huge business owner or anything of that sort either. If you walk into a restaurant and different people are calling out your name to say hello (whether it be from a work colleague/someone you see at the gym consistently/employee of an establishment you frequent/etc.) her whole demeanor will pique with curiosity and intrigue.

Get out there and establish yourselves with hobbies and being social brehs.
