How do y'all expect there to be more black teachers, lawyers, and engineers by saying "fukk"college?

fukk college if you're going for some bullshyt ass degree like art. That's a waste of money and good way to go in debt. College is fine for the professions you listed.

But breh, a top, and I mean TOP art school gives you connections you couldn't possibly get any other way. :manny:

The problem is those top art schools are extremely selective and most people just settle for the basic ass one close to them:yeshrug:

How :dahell: is that supposed to work out?

Everyone ain't bout to read a god damn Java book and sit in front of a computer all damn day.

Java can't make you a high school history teacher :dahell:

HTML can't teach you neurosurgery :dahell:

C++ won't help you pass the bar :dahell:

College is a necessary, I don't advocate not going to college (I would be a hypocrite if I did).

But I'm not going to pretend that it isn't the biggest ponzi scheme in America (outside of insurance).

I can be frustrated with higher education but still partake in it in order to find a successful career.

For instance. My Vanderbilt BS in Computer Engineering (if i didn't get any scholarships) cost a total of $208,000.
With that degree the most useful thing I gained from it was a connection to Vandy alums. That's it.

The price of tuition keeps going up, the amount of money you make out of college doing said jobs remains the same. :wow:

Junior college then transferring is cool and should be promoted

Spending 4 years at a university without scholarships should not be

2 years at a local junior college and young adult should be able to figure out what they want to do from there. Whether they want to continue their education or pursue other things

No, there's literally no other way to become a teacher, doctor or lawyer that's worth a damn :heh:

What are you talking about b? :dahell:

You can become a lawyer taking online courses and classes. Some dumbass white guy did this. He went to Thomas Jefferson school of law. Now he has 170,000 dollars of student debt and can't pass the bar. People think doing everything online is easy. They gonna learn the hard way.

I should clarify, I meant all the things you stated in the OP.

Java, HTML and C++ would obviously in no way contribute to being a teacher, surgeon or lawyer.
I don't know if you want to have a discussion or you just wanted to make a thread :patrice:
