How do you cheer yourself up when you feel sad or burnt out?

I stopped trying to cheer myself up and learned how to get neutral. Neutrality is the sweet spot.

Maybe you feel sad or burnt out for completely valid reasons. Maybe you are not living the life that you know you should be living, Constant 'cheer me ups' may be keeping you from actually acknowlding just how out of alignment you are with the actions you take.

Allow and validate the sadness you feel, validate the mental/physical fatigue then come back to center.
All of this.

I sit in the feelings I'm having and allow myself to register and process said feelings.

Spend time alone

Turn off the TV and everything else

Put the phone in another room

Think/ Pray / Meditate

Calm down by yourself

You don’t need weed or porn or alcohol to do that …

You have to learn to control your own mind
