Mr. McDowell
The Brotha's Got His Own Money
My brother [from another mother] for over 28 years died this week and I am literally feeling like life is meaningless. This was a good dude, who everybody loved, who was a giver and truly was the best type of friend a person could ever want.
Always supportive, never judgmental, loved to laugh, a willing listener, but always had something to say. I haven't really cried, but this guy was one of the most important people in my life and now he's just gone forever.
Does anyone have any advice? Everyone else I could talk to right now in NYC (I'm in LA) is asleep.
This hurts really bad. How does a healthy person in their 30's just die?
