How do you deal with that "c00n" brother at work?

So there's this guy at my job and he's cool and all but sometimes i just get pissed at him. Here and there he will throw a "joke" about black people, i know some of yall know what i'm saying. Now, i don't consider him a "c00n" as many people here like to throw, just think he's confused, since he spend most of his daytime around white folks. Sometimes i feel about calling him out about itbut i'm not sure how it could affect our relationship n/h...
Should i say something about his behavior or just let it be?

Nah, im not gonna distance from him, like i said he's a nice person but unfortunately has this uncontrollable need to disrespect himself in front of white people.
And hes on his mid 30s, i don't think he will have any wake up call by now.

He will get a wake-up call one day, but just make sure they know you're not going to make racially self depreciating jokes like he does, or accept them either.

Bad thing is though, they might say "You should be more like (coworker) he's a more easygoing/likable person" then that's when you hit them with your stance and let the results happen. "If being easygoing/likable to you means depreciating the things I hold sacred and respectable, then we're on different wavelengths as far as sociability, and should keep our relationship and interactions strictly about office related matters ."

If they don't hit you with that line, then you're all good. Just do you and don't tear yourself down to fit in.

Not exactly the same thing, but in college I was in one large auditorium class as a sophomore with this light skinned Jamaican cat..being we were the only two Blacks amongst like a couple hundred cacs, I somehow figured we shared some common ground and would be cool or something. Initially, I'd greeted dude and tried to dap him but he just sent a cold draft in my direction..I assumed he was having a bad day so when I passed him again days later in the hall I gave him a slight head nod to let him know I recognized there was another breh in the building..once again, cold draft.
So I let it go, and commenced my quarter (semester) hanging by myself..

Now, Id noticed dude was constantly in the company of cacs and cacs alone grinning and showing his teeth. Now, me having had enough experience with cacs I knew how this would inevitably turn out. See, you cant be friends indefinitely with cacs because sooner than you expect they'll slip up and reveal their Devil nature..
I dont know what happened here, but towards the end of the quarter dude was hanging mostly by himself and trying to 'whats up' me and small talk whenever he'd run into me..But Id already established links with a couple thorough brehs so I wasnt having it.
I dealt with breh by letting him learn on his own..

I got a black friend who sometimes jokes about diversity and racial quotas, but he doesn't really come across as self-hating or anything.
