How do you decide which chapter in the bible to read from?

I know its a bible study thread in hl but foh no replies since October?

I can't just start from the very beginning its too long?? I want to just pick a chapter each day and go from there but how do you decide which one to go to??

Start with what you wanna know. Think of an incident in the book and then look up where it happened so you can read the text yourself. I personally don't see a point in skipping the beginning entirely but
