How do you feel about preserving tradition?

Regardless of what the tradition may be, how do you feel about preserving it?

Are you in support of it?

Are you doing anything personally to preserve it?

Should it be preserved even if it's something that you personally think is wrong, but you give it a pass simply because it's tradition?

Tradition is important, you have to know who you are and where you come from. It grounds you and propels you forward in life.
Discard or alter the negative traditions.

I had 2 windows open on my desktop today. One was the France 24 Live News channel and they were talking about Queen Elizabeth. In the other window, I had YouTube channel of some random hood vlog in Stone Mountain, Georgia (a different kind of tradition). Each place has their negatives.

I’m not big on tradition. I think you should take the good parts of it and evolve where necessary.

For example, I’m big on the tradition of kids being respectful and “in a child’s place”, but don’t feel beatings are necessary to achieve it.
