How do you feel about the pace of modern life?

I..

  • dig it.

  • despise it.

  • don't care either way.

That was said in the 80s when the seeds of the quickening were first being sprinkled. Now? We're full steam ahead, warp speed activated, phasers set to kill, shred and decimate all forms of resistance to the seemingly inevitable fusion of man and microchip as babies will be born plugged into the matrix without a clue of the interfacing as it'll be subdermally implanted.

With that said how do you feel about the pace of modern life?

Granted the more time you spend stuck to a rock orbiting a fireball the more your perception shifts but even that is just a frame a mind. What I'm speaking of is this relentless acceleration like I mentioned in another topic:

Look at how it used to go from box office *wait* rental *wait* available to purchase *wait* on TV. All of that is gone and its same day instastream

The new day is the flip in which everything is everywhere, all at once. How do you feel about it?

Its like the song of life is still the same but they've changed the equalizer settings so the bass is constantly thumping and the finer details have vanished. I predict this year we're going to see a counterswing as people start disconnecting and choose real life instead of digital approximations and facsimiles of connection.

Breh, that is exactly what made me post this thread because January is done and I haven't even had breakfast yet. Double you tea eff.

I've got to get back on my focus tip because there are so many ways to leak energy and intention these days and those social isolation habits of excess really did a number on my perceptions of progress as it felt like turning over a whole chapter, not just a page, at once.

Got to detrain that from my awareness as its influence is definitely felt.

modern life aint fast...

majority of people spend hella time by themselves on their phone/internet...

majority of people cant list 10 things they planned and accomplished in any given 7 day period.

this "fast pace" shyt is not a reality for anybody who doesn't have kids or an upper level career...

In present day it feels very fast

but I have to be honest, it becomes a blur from time traveling so much.

Breaking timelines, rewriting existence and shattering timelines can be tiring and overwhelming at times.

around 50% of men dont have kids

less than 30% of the total population has a "career"

odds are... most of this website is basic nikkas, working basic jobs, with no kids

I think it’s probably cause we our consistently occupied with things so it keeps us busy from really paying attention to things

Honestly humans may be “working” too much, is it really necessary to work the way we do to keep the world running, like what if the standard was we only worked maybe 5/6 hours a day
I think the culture of work being your whole life is an mistake for the psyche

We have evolved technologically, socially, we still remain the same as a species.

Climate changes has drastically altered our weather. Winters are becoming abnormally warmer. Random tornadoes and storms popping out of nowhere in the midwest and south.

Death trolls have been inclining. A lot of mass murderers outbreaking, new strains of covid-19 popping out every year, etc. Mental health and physical health are both at risk!

The future of music is digital however analog technology such as vinyl, CD's and cassettes still has it's a niche market.
