For those who get it, no explanation is necessary. For those that don't, no explanation will suffice.
i mean i was OBSESSED with wrestling from when i was like 6-7 to like 17 years old

but after awhile it just got stale in about 07 08.....all of the legends were on their way out and the storylines got worse and worse

WWE aint the same as it was 10 years ago

I stopped watching the same time as you, I tried to get back into it recently but it was hard. I had no idea who anyone was, maybe I'll try again

A show that we know. A show that we've known since we were kids. :lupepopcorn:

With characters that we love and hate like any other show.

A show with stories like most great sports. Everyone loves a good story.

In a business that is probably the most intriguing entertainment industry on the planet.

The stories off-the-screen can be as interesting as the stories on-screen and mixing the two makes it twice as interesting. :smughhh:

We like watching the come-ups, the comebacks, and the satisfaction of being right... :cenasabo:

...but not as much as we like being surprised. That's why we watch: to see if they can surprise us the way they did when we were kids.:lupegarvey:

It's a combination of stand-up comedy, improv, and performance art/the circus. We want to laugh, be fooled, and see people do amazing shyt while almost breaking their fukking necks. :yikesvince::whew:

It's one of the only shows that has been on the air forever, never has re-runs, and we (the viewer) can control.

There's no book to spoil it, just booking. If it fukking sucks, we know it and it shows on screen because it's live and the crowds usually feel the way we feel at home. :ortongirl:

People love and learn from The Muppets. People love and learn from The Simpsons. People love and learn from professional wrestling. :shovel:

But what the fukk is the same as it was 10 years ago?

nikkas didn't stop listening to rap after Big and Pac got clapped
nikkas didn't stop watching basketball after Jordan hung it up

If you love the genre, you will be a fan no matter what the landscape is. Sound like you was more of a fan of wrestlers than wrestling.
