Well, this can be summed up by simply telling you to be charismatic... since slick talk would be a part of that. But the question would then be "What makes someone charismatic?" I think the answer would be different from everybody, but it's mainly all about being present in where you are in that particular moment, and also being genuinely interested in the person you're talking to. Being a people person, making sure they all feel good when you're around. It's a vibe thing, people can tell when you're not being sincere, so never fake it.

You need to learn Social Intelligence, and the only way you're going to gain that is by talking to everybody. People love to talk about themselves, so ask questions and pay attention to what they're saying... Listen. But do not make it sound like you're conducting an interview lol. You're trying to get to know someone, not collecting data for a survey. Also, like someone else said... learning Body Language will save your life (both figuratively and literally). A person's body language holds many secrets and will also tell you many things a person won't say consciously. Observe while listening, notice every detail about them. Overlook nothing. Put all of that together and you get "Omg, are you a mind reader?! " (Note: It's the same techniques they use... Make of that what you will. )


Finally, and the most important part of all... Just focus on improving yourself and getting to a better place. Love yourself. That's it. Hope that helps. This is just some of the stuff I've come to learn in my life. So if I'm wrong, I'm more than happy to be corrected and learn from those mistakes.

Be sincere, practice carrying conversations and have a sense of humor or charisma that can keep someone interested.

A lot of people use their own experiences for filler in conversations so traveling/being active helps too.

That's the vibe you mostly give off, and that's why people don't like you. It's good that you're focused on your life and how you're feeling, that's the goal.. but it's probably the way you go about it that turns people off. And the root of that might be self-hate. That's why loving yourself is crucial, because the more you start love yourself, the more appreciation you'll have for other people.

Start with what you CAN do. You might be unemployed currently, but you want change. Change starts the moment you decide you want to. So, start by getting rid of all the negative influences in your life. Cause if you keep them around and you have a moment of weakness, guess what? You end up caving and land right back where you used to be.

Secondly, tell the people around you that care about you that you want to clean up your act and fix yourself. I'm sure you have family, and I'm sure at least someone in your family would be willing to help. Help them help you, trust them.

And finally, work on getting your mind right. Start doing (legal) things that you love to do, take up (legal) hobbies and develop (legal) interests. Enjoy life again, explore new areas in your city, eat at a different restaurant, go see a movie you've always wanted to see. See, the people who always say that life is boring are the ones who don't see the marvelous adventures that's all around them. There's literally a world full of new adventures, and there are plenty in your own backyard, so start there. When you start exploring and getting high off life, you won't need all the extra things.

i understand but i literally have zero money. i would sell my laptop but i use it to apply for jobs. i seriously cant afford to do anything. i cant afford to eat. (still have food in my house for now tho) i cant afford a bus fare. until i get a job theres nothing i can do. unemployment is horrible.

I feel you. Being unemployed does suck. Have you tried absolutely everything? In your position, you might have to take the jobs you absolutely refuse to do in order to get yourself going. I'm sure there's somewhere you could work, the only issue is whether you'd like working there or not. Then again, given your situation, unfortunately you don't have much of a choice.
