Those are not ends.

The thing is it’s unnecessary to mention qualifications because that’s a given. There’s a shytload of qualified people of all colors and creeds, they won’t pick someone unqualified. It’s just that from the qualified group they’re going to hone in on black womenFull transparency (and I hope to not catch any warning points in the Future for just being honest), the reason that this thread came about was because I was watching the news and they mentioned that President Biden is going to choose someone for an important government position, and that all he's said is that it will be a black woman. I'm pretty sure that the same was done with his Vice President selection. There was no mention of qualifications or accolades, but the only criteria seemed to be that the person chosen match that race and gender. Even if that's the selection process that everyone agreed upon behind the scenes, I don't think they should make it that blatant and public like that. The only reason to do it the way that they're doing it is to practice "mega-pandering".
Low-level pandering is a politician visiting a town he's never been to and rocking the sports team. The aforementioned thing is just "od" levels of obvious, and looks bad (imo).
Then again, if it's a means to an end, then some folks are okay with however that final destination is reached. I was just trying to gauge what the coli opinion is on it.
just donate the money and keep it movingI have no issue with that, gives a great opportunity to a member of our community. I don’t necessarily like the public handling of that though I agree because then it feels like you’re just trying to win us over more than actually do good. Just do the good deed, it’s like if you tweeted out every time you donated money to an orgjust donate the money and keep it moving
