I typed someone's name and then highlighted it and clicked on the mention button. Then I looked at the post preview but all that appeared was an @ sign without the name. How do mentions work?

Ok, I tried that first and then I clicked on Preview Post because I wanted to make sure that I was using it correctly, but it just looked like regular text. I guess it doesn't turn into an actual mention until the post is posted. Thanks for your help.

Yeah in preview you wont see it.
