Put yourself in uncomfortable situations that invoke your anxiety. Eventually you'll get used to those situations and eventually become comfortable in them. The hardest part about this is forcing yourself in these situations, once you overcome that you'll eventually be all good.

Gonna be a really corny answer but i just remind myself that i can dunk on all these people so why am i letting their opinions bother me?

For me, if i put myself in an arrogant mindset, im far less likely to be anxious. Not saying its a solution, but its a solid workaround.

If im being really braggadocios in public, im likely overcompensating. Cuz im normally very laid back and stoic.

I’m not a doctor and I don’t suffer from anxiety (more than the average person) so I’m just speaking from my own life experience.

I feel like the biggest thing for anxiety is to calm the mind. I believe the biggest thing you can do to have the mind be more calm on a permanent level, is to get into meditation.

Meditation does wonders for quieting mental chatter, which in turn, gives us more mental clarity, and an effect of that is, life kind of “slows down” You are more naturally going with the flow and things like anxiety, frustration, anger, helplessness, etc... will happen less and be greatly improved.

This world has a lot of stimulus and we get caught up in it. We have to constantly work to decompress mentally and “zoom out” and not get so caught up in this shyt.

Embrace the call of death. Honestly, I would rather be dead than feel overly anxious again, although my problem is that I don't care enough nowadays. If you want a real answer then attenuate yourself to uncomfortable environments and get a real bearing on suffering. So you could try living an ascetic lifestyle for a couple weeks.

I think some poster had a theory that anxious people aren't compatible with 21st century living.
