long story short i took over a large job today to finish from a foreman who went on to the next one and its like 80% complete but with holes everywhere for me to deal with now basically his mess. theres alot of work left and its me and 1 other guy who is about half the worker i am. we can legit get things done but my boss contacted me today with all these higher demands than usual and i know as time goes on in the few weeks im going to be there im going to be getting multiple phone calls a day and constant pressure

i basically just tell him what he wants to hear and work hard but i think it may come to a point where i have to be like "hey listen this is the way it is and if you dont like it put me some where else" which could be suicide for future work but i dont like pressure i hate running work i just like showing up to do my thing.

Prove yourself by putting in the effort and getting all that shyt handled, and eventually you'll have the job where you're putting people in precarious positions like that..

Figure out the scope of whats wrong and let your boss know immediately. And give him your time frame. No boss likes to be surprised.
