I get being exhausted with kids, work and shyt to the point where little things blow up and become big deals.
But women always like to threaten the extremes. She thinks shyt is hard now? Imagine how much harder it will be alone, on a single income and dealing with getting kids adjusted to a broken family. That trash and dishes shyt will seem like nothing in comparison.

If daycare is $1500 a month, unless your wife is making some decent money($60k+) there is ZERO reason for her to be going to work while them kids are little. I made $115k by myself last year, I'm an electrician with just a couple courses taken at community college and a trade school certification just like all the rest of my coworkers. I'm literally single dad-ing my way through life right now with no help and making it just fine. A lot of people have no discipline whatsoever and wonder why they need 2 incomes to make it.

One of the best lessons I ever learned was when I had just bought my house while dating this chick who had an EFFICIENCY. But when I would go over there and be messy she’d turn into this taskmaster and treat me like I’m some freeloader. Again, all while I have a whole ass house while she lives in a gotdamn closet.
From that moment I realized women and their ‘space’ and ‘tasks’ and shyt is essentially their identity. You really gotta outdo women so it doesn’t even come up bc it will ruin your relationship. She will turn into the woman in the OP. Sidenote that’s why these ‘man routine’ tik toks go viral. Women think so low of us that seeing us go thru basic routines is orgasmic to them.
Even if you are responsible, that’s a completely different life you have to live.
Most of the luxuries of life are eliminated or drastically reduced when you do that unless the breadwinner is a high income earner.
The house we live in, the number (and destination) of trips we go on, the activities that the kids participate in, the restaurants where we eat, how much we put aside for retirement… all of that and more would take a serious hit if we lived off one income. I’m not trying to work until I’m 70. Hell, I’m not trying to work past 55.
