How do you tell your friend he's a pretty terrible rapper?

Kid on my campus that I hang out regularly had me come thru one day and watch his new music video. Mind you, I didn't know he was rapping so I was a bit surprised to hear it. I sat there & pretended to like it like but shyt was really prettttty trash. Video was shot well, beat isn't bad but this nikka can't really rap at all. Anyone else ever had to deal with a similar situation?
