How do you think social media has affected the dating scene?

Well, at this point, I'm more content with sexting someone than actually going out and having physical sex.

Everyone has a "better" option right at their fingertips. You can go from no options to hundreds by downloading an app.
It's easy to fill emotional voids with meaningless chatter on an app/site/social media.
Easy to find quick sex.
Easy to judge and filter people out on a select set of superficial traits (race, age, weight, height, etc.)
Easy to cheat on a partner with a stranger or look for your other options while still committed.
It made the merry go round of dating much tougher for both genders and I think has put temptation and infidelity within even closer reach.
