In particular, I mean the super successful long time coaches. The Bobby Bowdens, Calipari, Spurrier, Stoops, Saban, Urban Meyer, etc of the sports world.
These guys have seen thousands of young black kids come thru their teams over the years. And these Black kids are directly responsible for these guys making MILLIONS of dollars and setting their own families up for generations. Some of these Black kids are good kids from good families, and then some of them are knuckleheads as well.
Unlike many, these white men have been exposed to thousands of Black parents/Black families of all varieties, sat in their living rooms, etc & at some point they had to have come across a Black player(s) or Black families who completely challenged or disproved whatever view of race they may have grown up with, or what they ere taught.
Do you think they view Black ppl differently from say, what we believe the average white American(who often has little/limited exposure to black ppl) does? Do you think it's a view for better or for worse?
