currently 1.2 miles
-i can either walk this in 15-20 mins
-walk 5 min or so to a subway and take it 3 stops (another 10 mins or so)
-walk 5 min or so to a bus stop and take it 3 stops (another 10 mins or so)
-take a cab in less than 5 min
by the end of feb i will be moving and my commute will be 22 miles
-i will be driving 3 miles to the train
-taking a 35 min train to penn
-taking a subway from penn to office
-all in commute of just under an hour

Ironically if I ride my bicycle, it takes roughly the same, if not about 5 mins more.

25 miles each way for me. and of course since I work near o'hare, the traffic is pretty much awful all the time.
luckily I only have to come in the office 4 times a week, so I drive 2 days, and I take the train/bus two days. when I drive it takes like 1 hour and 10 minutes each way. when I take the train/bus, it takes like 90 min each way. of course, when I take public transportation, I can read or sleep if I want, so thats cool.

used to be 20 miles on fridays and then like 26 on the weekends, 30-40 miles on a monday
