I learned touch typing in grade school, there was a software for it. It becomes automatic. The key is consistent finger placement rather than just randomly moving your hands around searching for a key. Specifically your resting position should be 2 index fingers on F and J, that's why there's little notches on those keys.

just practice man it's that simple

if you've been doing coursework essays throughout your academic life that could help

you start to know the whereabouts of every key on the keyboard and your fingers just quickly jump to them as you're typing words - it's muscle memory for sure
