How hard is it to get a job in Pharmaceutical Sales?

Have a 2 yr associates liberal arts degree and 2 years of experience in nursing clinical hospital settings but no nursing degree. What do these people usually look for in a candidate. I'm not too sure on being a nurse so I was thinking about other things just in case. Anyone know anything about the field? Im in nyc.
