How hard is it to learn to make beats?

Im not looking to be a producer and make money, just always wanted to make beats for fun and shyt. I downloaded fruity loops and was lost on how to use it

You can probably learn most of the technical aspects of making a beat in Fruity Loops in a day

Well you deffo need the ear for it, i can listen to albums and pick out sounds easily

As long as you have an ear for it it shouldn't be too hard. The learning curve resides in the technical aspects of it. Fl Studio is by far the easiest way to make beats. Look at youtube videos it helps tremendously. I've been making beats since a child it comes natural to me but I've found that the more experience you have the easier it gets your ear develops further than someone who doesn't make music will. It's like you hear shyt that other people don't. Good luck man
