How has your car rental experiences been with Turo? I heard some of the owner have been tripping with unexpected fees after you return the car?

What’s your experience? Better cars than enterprise or budget and coming out cheaper too.

Turo is GOAT. I use to rent directly from the airport when i went out of town. After covid the rental prices at the airport webt through the roof and still are.

Switch to Turo and havent looked back. No dealing with agents asking you if you want extras or standing in line and shyt. Overral a stress free process. I land, i start my trip, find my whip(hosts usually use airport parking lots), i go. Hassle free. Turo is like when airbnb first came out before they added all the extra fees. If i want a car that gets me from point a to b, i can go cheap. If i want to stunt i can search for luxury vehicle. Turo is goat.

I had some friends rent a van out on the west coast using Turo a month or two ago. They said it was alright. Dunno about the hidden fees and what not. They just said the car was fine.

Needed a transport van for their gear

Never had an issue with Enterprise. Drove out to Ohio, Florida, and Alabama using them. No hidden fees/extras.

Might just be me, though.

Oh god, I hope not. I didn't purchase the rental but I'm driving one off of Turo this weekend. The rates look amazing from the one time I looked at them (July) but I can't imagine using that service to go out of town...

I'll report back if I learn of any issues but if you ask me it's specifically meant for flights where you need a car.

Why wouldn’t you rent the Benz again? Premium gas ?

Used it before had no problems. On top of it it was a "luxury" car and the owners were white Hispanics and there was no shyt. But then again that's just my one experience. Make sure to take VERY good pics of the car the second they give it to you. Do the same thing when you drop it off. That way you'll have proof of everything.
