Most immigrants usually have insular communities and have their own micro economies and communities so it's not like that the money flows to the broader Black community. They like other immigrants also send remittances back home to help build their homelands. Maybe I'm over looking something.

All non-White immigrants in the USA over the last 60 years and White immigrants from the eastern bloc countries owe African Americans a gigantic thank you, because the Civil Rights fight in the USA is what gave rise to the 1964 Civil Rights laws and the 1965 Immigration Act that had a DEI component that allowed people from places other than Western Europe to immigrate to the USA.

The marches were a just a part of an overall collective protest in different forms all across America, which is why it was called the "CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT." The marches always got the headlines, but there was all kinds of other stuff occurring too.
