Googled why majority of cheerleaders are White.

Apparently, the issue is money. Rich white parents send their kids to gymnastic clases to learn the skills.

didnt they recently sue because they make less than minimum wage :mjlol:

i think they just do it cuz its a good look to be like 'yea im a nfl cheerleader', can prolly get some other gigs

I wouldn't be shocked if they did. When I heard what they were making, I thought they would be better off selling hot dogs in the stands and getting tips than having to practice all the time, be at appearances, brave the winter elements in skimpy clothes, etc. for the little bit that they were making. Like you said, most probably use it for other gigs or resume builders. I met this one girl at Vanderbilt who was a Titans cheerleader and I'm pretty sure she was using it for resume building cause I think she was pre-med.

Maybe....but do they make more money. And are they easily accessible forurban youth to develop
Well, pretty much competitors in those sports that I mentioned do tend to make a lot of money. Lewis Hamilton for instance signed a contract with Mercedes worth $155m over the next three years. A black tennis player like Gael Monfils for instance who has never won a grand slam finals in his career has made a cool $10m without including bonuses. While it's not NBA money, a non-elite athlete could take up such a sport and make a pretty decent living. Guys at the very top like Federer are seeing LBJ money. Let's not even get into golf.. the money in that sport is absurd when you consider how long their careers span (although golf is in a relative decline now).

There is obviously some cultural bias inherent in these sports, but that has not stopped black athletes and competitors for reaching the top in them; Lewis Hamilton in F1, Tiger in golf, Williams Sisters in tennis, Jarome Iginla in ice hockey, Dawes and Douglas in gymnastics, Shani Davis in speedskating, James Stewart Jr in motocross etc. It's not necessarily about the economic costs, but the exposure. Williams sisters were from a poor neighborhood, but had the exposure of tennis from their dad. Lewis Hamilton's dad took him go-Karting etc.

I'm black, I'm just sick of all the double standards. Just because your skin is a certain color doesn't believe you have to live a double standard.

Hypocrites breh.
you're black?:duck:

let me guess, we're the black st0rmfr0nt? blacks can't complain about police brutality because "what about black on black crime?"

if blacks stop discussing racism, it'll go away?:wtf::mjlol:

All people need to stop discussing it. But people on theColi talking about fukking up the bloodline by getting with a white woman or crying racism because the Texans only have 3 cheerleaders who are black aren't helping breh. :yeshrug:
