Beyond hype. It was the first GTA I ever owned.

I remember reading the articles that came out, leading up to it, just being amazed at all the shyt they put in the game.

Then on top of that, main character was black

I liked the first trailer better. I remember it being my very first time seeing the game, so it resonates with me a little more.

The trailer had me so hyped for a game. I remember cacs were mad initially because it was a black protagonist and was set in the hood. A few weeks after it came out, they had to shut up because it was so dope.
