Job titles can mean different things to different companies. One organization's Manager is another's Director, is another's Senior, is another's VP. Normally depending on the size of the company and other factors. My question is won't jobs try to low ball if you don't have that current job title. For example if you're a project coordinator but have the duties of a project manager. That doesn't mean you're going to get a PM SALARY. They are going to only see you as a PC. Or let's say a support analyst doing business analyst roles. Would it be ok to not put my official job title and to just put the title that shows my actual duties? During a background check, do they verify job titles or just dates worked?
